For those who remember our previous post about the 1,000 plus horsepower 9ff Porsche 911 GT9-R, you now have the chance to grab this prototype for around $1.1 million dollars. Marking its status as the prototype car, it bears the number 00/20, of which only 20 more are expected to be manufactured. Indicating that this Porsche 911 supercar is already an exclusive example of an already impossible to get car. For the money, you’ll get a twin-turbo Porsche with 1,120 horsepower, 4.0-liter flat six, six-speed, that weighs in at only 2,923 pounds.

Since 9ff tuning didn’t like the factory rear engine layout of the Porsche 911, it was revised to carry this rocketship of an engine. The cars acceleration is brutal, accomplishing 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, and having the potential to become the worlds fastest production car since it beat the SSC Ultimate Aero TT which had a top speed of 412 km/h.

Russian firm TopCar released these initial images of their latest tuning program for the Porsche Panamera, called the Stingray.  Previously, we received the concept of the Porsche Panamera Stingray, but now it’s official. The TopCar Porsche Panamera Stingray features a full aero kit along with some tweaks under the hood. For the exterior, the tuners added a new front bumper, carbon fiber hood, side skirts, rear bumper with integrated diffuser, and a two piece rear spoiler. All these pieces improve the aerodynamics, and the rear was finished with tail light covers and carbon fiber window moldings.

The interior of the Porsche Panamera Stingray by TopCar received a checkerboard themed carbon fiber trim. You can see this throughout the cabin, covering the dashboard pieces and steering wheel. Under the hood, the engineers from TopCar performed some tuning and tweaks to increase the power output to 542 hp. The tuning company plans to unveil this Porsche Panamera project at the Dream Car 2010 expo in Moscow, April 2nd. It will also premier at the Top Marques Monaco on April 15th, so more pictures should come soon.

This lime green Porsche 911 RGT-8 was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show from the RUF car tuning specialists. Looking like a solid build, the most suprising thing about this project is that it doesn’t use a Porsche engine! Instead, the tuners modified an in-house 4.5-liter V8 powerplant to produce some impressive numbers. With this innovative design, and compact engine, the Porsche 911 power increase shows 550 hp at 8,500 rpm, and 500 Nm of torque at 5,400 rpm. RUF was able to shave off 200 kg with the customizations under the hood, and even gave the race car a dry-sump lubrication system which is effective under all driving conditions.

The power from the V8 is transferred through a 6-speed manual gearbox that offers shorter shifts to send the torque to the rear wheels. For added performance, the RUF Porsche 911 RGT-8 received the tuning firms forged wheel package that has a single central retaining nut, and come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. Providing sufficient stopping power, the Porsche super car was hooked up with a ceramic braking system. RUF stated that this build was inspired by the 550 coupe which won Le Mans race back in 1953.

As for the aerodynamic parts, the Porsche 911 received aluminum doors and a front hood, while the engine hood and rear spoiler were made of carbon fiber to save extra weight. Luckily, inside the bright green Porsche are few green accents, besides the instrument cluster. Instead, a full roll cage supports the frame for racing and improved safety. Minor modifications to the dashboard were made with aftermarket components.

Vivid Racing has announced the latest car tuning news about the Balrog Porsche Cayenne aero kit, which they will be the official USA distributor of. Created by the French designer, Jeremie Paret, the new body kit for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo will offer owners a new way of life. This aggressive and punchy wide body aero kit adds a touch of elegance, while at the same time, the huge front grille looks to eat up the competition. The Balrog aero kit features a front bumper with genuine Cayenne Turbo side lights, and fog lights with angel eyes. At the same time, this large front bumper provides better cooler for the intercoolers and brakes as well.

The drilled luxury grille on the Porsche Cayenne adds a touch of innovated car styling, and of course the factory Porsche options such as xenon nozzles or parking detectors can be mounted on the body kit. In the four corners are widened fenders to fit large aftermarket wheels that will improve the handling, while adding unique automotive styling. At the rear of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo you will find a spoiler and diffuser to improve aerodynamics. The diffuser can be removed at any time to install a tow hook, and completing the Balrog wide body aero kit are a set of enhanced side skirts. The Swiss tuners from Mansory are ready to impress all the visitors at the Geneva Motor Show with this new Porsche 997 Turbo. Fresh from the Mansory tuning lab is the latest package for the 997 Porsche series with an upgraded turbo kit. Performance figures were not released yet, but we do know it received a nice aero kit to change its style. Included in the kit is a new front skirt and splitter made of carbon fiber, a redesigned rear end with rear skirt, and a carbon fiber rear wing to further improve the aerodynamics.

A clean set of black wheels were installed by the tuning company, and a few interior customizations were made to the Porsche 997. Mansory upgraded a couple parts under the hood with a performance manifold and two silencers to boost the cars numbers. We have limited details about this Mansory Porsche 997 Turbo car, but more should be available once it is officially revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

Fairy Design isn’t the typical tuning firm we hear from, but they have done a nice job on this new four door Porsche Panamera. This car was displayed at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon were the tuners turned this stock Porsche into a masterpiece. A very clean body kit with a new front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser, and a black paint job lining the bottom were added. With this new platform, Fairy Design isn’t the first tuning company to jump on the aftermarket band wagon for the Porsche Panamera.

To go along with the new aggressive body styling, the Porsche Panamera received 21″ HRE wheels finished in matte black. Performance tuning or increases in horsepower were not released, as these are the only images coming from the Tokyo Auto Show. Previously, 9ff created the world’s fastest Porsche 911 Turbo with the GT9-R, and now have closely matched the numbers with the new TR-1000. Road testing was completed at the ATP testing circuit in Papenburg, Germany where the Porsche 911 Turbo TR 1000 reached amazing top speed of 392 km/h. Under the hood is where the beauty lies, with a flat-six cylinder engine and the addition of larger turbochargers. To accomplish that race speed the engine needed new camshafts, titanium connecting rods, crankshaft, larger intercooler, and of course ECU tuning. Underneath an aftermarket high performance exhaust system was installed, and the modified Porsche 911 Turbo produced a stunning 1000 hp and 1040 Nm of torque at 7800 rpm.

Even after reaching 392 km/h, the 9ff tuners believe they can exceed 400 km/h with an improved aero body kit on the Porsche Turbo TR 1000. At the track the car was superb with sprint times showing 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, 100-200 km/h in only 4.8 seconds, and 300 km/h in 8 seconds. To keep the supercar reliable at these high speeds, 9ff had to include a few aerodymanic parts to keep the wheels on the ground. Pictured here are customized side skirts, a new front splitter, rear diffuser, and rear wing. The suspension and braking system received new parts as well, including an adjustable coilover kit and performance brake kit.

It has been reported that a Greek millionaire had this Porsche 911 Turbo built for his 25-year-old girlfriend. Now we’re all asking why, and how long do you think this 130,000 euro sports car will last! If it’s true, hopefully she’s related to Danica Patrick or Sabine Schmitz, so she can handle these world record speeds.

The world renowned tuning company SpeedART has released a new custom program for the Porsche 997 Turbo called the BTR II 580. The name stands for Bi-Turbo-Racer, and is the second generation of Porsche tuning completed by SpeedART. This new project is based off the 2010 Porsche 977 Turbo that comes with a 3.8-liter engine and a PDK gearbox. Improvements under the hood increased the horsepower by 80 and brought the torque up by 120 Nm. This was accomplished with aftermarket parts such as a modified motronic sports exhaust system with 200 cell catalytic converters along with the standard ECU tuning.

These performance upgrades allowed the new bi-turbo racer Porsche car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in only 3.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 325 km/h. The exterior received an exclusive aerodynamic kit to help with all the extra power under the hood. In the front is an optimized front lip spoiler for additional downforce while traveling at high speeds. Complementing the front lip are new side skirts, rear diffuser, roof spoiler, and rear wing spoiler.

An aftermarket fully adjustable sport suspension kit was also installed on the Porsche 997 Turbo to improve the agility and handling of the car. The new suspension includes the unique PASM function for easy adjustments, and SpeedART hooked it up with some stunning wheels. Catching your eyes are twin-spoke LSC forged rims (Light Spoke Competition) measuring 20×8.5 in the front, and 20×12 in the rear. Of course, high performance tires were added that measure up to 245/30/ZR20 in the front, and 325/25/ZR20 in the rear.  The interior also received some customizations such as a sport steering wheel, racing seats, and special leather or alcantara features with carbon fiber parts throughout.

Aiming to become the world’s fastest production car, 9ff has modified the Porsche 911 nicknamed the GT9-R to produce an amazing 1120 horsepower. Last year the tuning company revealed the GT9 which accomplished 910 hp with a top speed of 409 km/h. This years model boasts a 4.0-liter six cylinder engine capable of reaching 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, 300 km/h in 15.8 seconds, and claim bragging rights of a 414 km/h top speed. This Porsche 911 GT9-R definitely has the potential to become the world’s fastest production car, since it beat out the SSC Ultimate Aero TT which had a top speed of 412 km/h. The only thing limiting the new car from 9ff is that they are only going to build twenty of these models at first, however all will be available worldwide.

Under the hood, or should I say trunk, the engine is fitted with either a six speed manual transmission of sequential gearbox. If customers choose to go with the less powerful motor, they can opt out for the five speed Tiptronic. The exterior styling kit you see here is unique however. 9ff guarantees that not one Porsche 911 will look identical to the other twenty produced. They announced that multiple aerodynamic kits were manufactured to keep them unique. Pricing has not yet been determined by 9ff, but you can’t expect this Porsche to come cheap with that amount of power.

Here we have the Stormster based off the Porsche Cayenne, and it is the first electric SUV brought to us by eRUF Automobile. eRUF has revealed their latest work on the SUV after unveiling the first electric sports car back in October 2008. This will be their third installment of an electric vehicle that is powered by a Siemens Technology electric unit. The numbers are remarkable for being completely electric, showing 367 bhp, which is the same as the previous Greenster Porsche model. Debuting at the European Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, the Porsche Cayenne SUV will be displayed from December 7th to the 18th of this month.

Weighing in at only 2,670 kg, the Porsche Cayenne is able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 10 seconds, and accomplish a top speed of 150 km/h. Able to travel 200 km with a single charge, the SUV has lithium ion accumulators provided by Li-Tec Battery. Keeping the vehicle lightweight for the best performance possible, eRUF hooked it up with classic 5 spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Hankook high performance tires measuring 295/30/R22. This won’t be the last from the tuning company, as they have announced another Porsche Cayenne “CO2ncept” in the making.
