Here we have the 1:33 ACR limited edition Dodge Viper that has been on display at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. What exactly does the 1:33 stand for? Well back in November, Chris Winkler was able to race the Viper ACR around the Laguna Seca track in just 1:33.944. It’s the fastest time ever accomplished by a production car, and only 33 of Dodge Vipers have been built since. Now what really makes this car unique is the 600 horsepower under the hood, and able to run from 0-202 mph 14 seconds faster than the 2009 model. Thus proving the Dodge Viper SRT10 V10 engine is not something to mess around with.

Leave it to GM to take out all the fun even when it comes to re-badging its own vehicles… See, while the General took the decision to reveal a North American version of the Opel Insignia OPC in the form of the Buick Regal GS showcar in Detroit, unfortunately, the European model’s 325HP 2.8-liter twin-scroll turbo V6 has been replaced with a lighter but more puny 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing an estimated 255HP.

Aston Martin One 77

When it’s not ‘badging’ around with mundane Japanese mini cars like the Toyota iQ, Aston Martin is actually in the business of making exotic supercars like the limited run One-77 which has moved closer to setting a new all-time record for the British marque after breaking the 200mph – 320km/h mark in initial high speed testing at a secret proving ground in southern Europe.

Rolls Royce, Bentley, Maybach, Possibly A Mercedes?

rolls-royce

Here we have an extreme tuning enthusiasts from the former Soviet Bloc country, supposedly Kazakhstan, that transformed his car to look like a Rolls Royce. We were wondering what car was underneath, if it was possibly a Bently, or Maybach since those are the only cars that come to mind large enough for the transformation. However, if it were either of those two cars, the owner probably wouldn’t need to make a fake Rolls Royce, and could just buy a real one. After close examination, this is a Mercedes E-Class under all the body work, and you can tell from the interior seating, and how the exterior is not as long as a typical Rolls Royce.

Bugatti Veyron Lake

After several pictures and a made up story of how this 1.6 million dollar Bugatti Veyron crashed in to a lake, we now have video proof of the accident! The owner, Andy House claimed that he was distracted by a low flying pelican that caused him to crash into the lake. This video shows no evidence of a pelican, and an updated report claims that he had dropped his cell phone. Hmm…the whole story is ironic because Andy House owns Performance Auto Sales in Lufkin, Texas and the company specializes in repair and restore of crashed exotics! Is it possible he did it on purpose for some extra promotion of his company? I highly doubt it since the Bugatti Veyron is one of the most expensive cars in the world. Hit the jump for the video and aftermath pictures.

Batmobile Limousine

We never knew that the Batmobile also came in limousine form – obviously neither does Batman or the creators of the fictional character but that’s beside the point. The limo is inspired from the Batmobile that was featured in the 1989 and 1992 Batman films directed by Tim Burton. You can see more pictures of the BatLimo as well as a video that we discovered on Youtube after the jump.
