A photograph depicting what looks to be a near-production concept study of a mid-size Kia sedan has found its way into the web. Word is that the so-called VG Concept most likely previews the next-generation Amanti sedan, but since we do not have any official information, it would be better if we left a question mark until we hear something from Kia. The VG Concept is slated to make its world premiere along with the all-new Sorento SUV and Kia’s first production hybrid model, the Forte LPI, at next week’s 2009 Seoul Motor Show that runs from April 3 to 12.

The updated Challenger SE with its 3.5-liter V6 was revealed along with a new SE Rallye edition at the Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine California this weekend.

We just received these new photos of the Megane RenaultSport (RS) 250 finished in gunmetal grey and white in our e-mail. We could have probably performed the color change on the initial pictures of the Megane RS 250 in canary yellow with a little help from photoshop, but why get into all that trouble. There’s nothing new to add about Renault’s Golf GTI adversary that is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-pot delivering a promising 250HP other than that we really dig its dramatic -for a hot hatch, that is- looks.

GM has announced that the Chevy Camaro convertible and the Chevy Camaro Z28 will both be delayed indefinitely. A company executive has cited a few different reasons for the indefinite delays in an interview with TheDetroitBureau.com.
Problems with the Camaro Convertible began with the demise of the German supplier picked to build the car’s top. Camaro line exec Gene Stefanyshyn said, “We’re looking to find an alternative source for the top.” Unfortunately, he continued, even if a new parts company was found quickly it would still take months for that company to ready production. The delay means the convertible might not be ready for well over a year, if it comes out at all.

David will take on two Goliaths at this year’s Ultimate Speed Comparison in Albert Park during the Formula One weekend. The Ultimate Speed Comparison has been held as a crowd spectacle in order to excite and at the same time host a fair comparison between cars that would normally never be seen “competing.”

The new Roush 2010 427R Mustang has just been introduced to the public. Roush’s fifth version of the car gets 435 hp and 400 ft-lb of torque, thanks in part to the company’s custom built supercharger.
Included with the performance upgrades is a bodykit that gives some significant changes to the car’s look. The one-piece rear fascia gives the Mustang an overall cleaner look, while being treated to reduce the affects of rocks striking the paint. Over the trunk is a three-piece wing, also custom made. The front fascia and splitter are new, and look very good with the 18-inch cast chrome wheels. The company has chosen Cooper Zeon tires, with the option to upgrade to a set of 20-inchers.

Not quite happy with the looks of your Mercedes CLS-Class? The tuners at Berlin-based MEC Design have released a body kit intended to muscle-up the curvy coupe-sedan.
Similar to the company’s S-Class kit, released at the end of last year, the CLS-Class bodykit ups the aggression substantially, with an extended front skirt and chin spoiler available with a choice of fog lights or mesh inserts. Side skirting emphasizes the CLS’ flared fenders and steamroller-like three-piece MEC Design 11×20 and 13×20-inch offset wheels. The deep-wheel look is accomplished with spacers and ultra-low profile rubber: 285/25 ZR 20 at the front and 325/25 ZR 20 at the back. At the rear of the CLS, a three-piece spoiler finishes the look off, with a choice of a “sports diffuser” or a smooth-finished rear bumper. MEC also offers LED lighting for the side skirts, consisting of five LED lights that are tied to the interior lighting, to give your CLS a dramatic look from the exterior.
